Susanne Farrow
Susanne Farrow is a Scarborough-based artist who began her artistic explorations as a classically trained clarinetist and music educator. Her passion for visual art began after her children were born, when she discovered that the permanence of visual art provides a different kind of satisfaction from creating music and presents so many new possibilities.
Over the past 18 years, she has explored a variety of media, including acrylics, oils, and paper collage, focusing mainly on landscape and figurative work. Most recently, she has been developing her skills painting en plein air, in which each moment is a multi-sensory experience and presents a new and unique set of challenges.
