Irma Dijak
Irma Dijak is a self-taught abstract intuitive artist who works with acrylics and mixed media, layering textures through mark-making with tools ranging from scrapers to sandpaper. Inspired by her childhood in a small village at the base of the Julian Alps, her art captures the wonder, peace, and mystery of the mountains alongside the whimsy of everyday life. She has refined her practice through international workshops, including Nicholas Wilton’s Art2Life Creative Visionary Program, and exhibits regularly with Visual Arts Mississauga, where she also volunteers. Passionate about building community, Irma founded an art group to support and connect fellow artists on their creative journeys.
