I find computers essential for creating artwork, enjoying the process of manipulating images. I work with oil paint and thread, creating embroideries that resemble oil paintings and vice versa. Switching between media inspires and complements my work. Embroideries offer advantages: portability, minimal workspace, and relaxation. I appreciate the tactile experience of oil painting and the mess-free process of embroidery. I strive to create work that pleases my eye, finding fulfillment in occasional successes. That is to say, not all my ideas work.
