Deborah Hansen
Deborah Hansen is a Canadian mixed media abstract artist whose work has been exhibited in juried shows and galleries across Canada, including Helson Gallery, Summer & Grace Gallery, Leslie Grove Gallery, Pazan Gallery, Neilson Park Creative Centre and international shows with the Federation of Canadian Artists.
She is a member of several arts organizations including Waterside Art Group, the Arts on the Credit and an exhibiting member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her work is held in private collections in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
Working intuitively, Deborah draws inspiration from nature, urban structures, and architectural forms. Initial layers emerge organically through gesture and experimentation, while subsequent refinement brings balance, atmosphere, and cohesion to each composition.
Based in the Georgetown area of Ontario, Deborah maintains an active home studio practice surrounded by the natural landscape that continues to inform her work.
