Mykhaylo Petrukh
Mykhaylo Petrukh is an artist and formally trained sculptor who now lives in Mississauga with his family. He studied sculpture at the Lviv Art College and the Lviv National Academy of Arts and spent more than 15 years teaching sculpture at the Ivan Trush Lviv Art College.
Throughout his career, Mykhaylo has worked across sculpture, carving and painting, exhibiting his work in both Ukraine and Canada. Today, his practice focuses primarily on oil painting, exploring landscapes, nature, Ukrainian culture and places of personal significance through rich colour and expressive imagery.
Mykhaylo is a member of the Ukrainian Union of Artists and the Ukrainian Association of Visual Artists of Canada.
