Christine deschenes
Christine Deschenes, aka Missphoton, is an emerging artist, photographer, and a professional graphic designer, originally from Quebec, now based in Ontario. Working across digital illustration, acrylic painting, and mixed media, she creates emotionally resonant works that explore vulnerability as strength and resilience as a path to freedom.
After years of designing for corporate clients, she reconnected with her creative roots and began using art to explore personal transformation, impermanence, and the quiet tension between fragility and power. Her work often incorporates symbolic figures, layered textures, and intuitive storytelling — sometimes blending her own photography with painted and digital elements.
Through series such as Metamorphosis and Silence, Christine invites viewers to reflect on inner transformation, emotional endurance, and the unexpected beauty that can emerge through change.
She has been selected as one of the 100 Emerging Artists of 2026 book, a global curation and publishing initiative by the Arts to Hearts Project to highlight rising talent in contemporary art.
