Patricia Lazar

All of my work is handmade 100% by me in my studio in Toronto.

I was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, I studied (and later taught) at the Montreal Museum of Fine Art, my principal teacher being Dr. Arthur Lismer, one of the famous Group of Seven. Twenty four years ago I moved to Toronto. I specialize in handcrafted ceramic art, especially teapots and functional serving pieces. My teapots can be found in Museums and art collections around the world.
I worked in the Artists’ Colony in Safad Israel for several years as well.

I have participated in many juried shows in Montreal and Toronto.

My most recent work is larger sculptural pieces.  I’ve been experimenting with portraits and working toward developing these pieces more……stay tuned 🙂
